Our approach

Jiro Engineering aims to make this website usable by people with a broad range of abilities, assistive technologies, input methods, and device configurations. Our current design and testing target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Features built into this site

• Semantic page structure and heading order.
• Keyboard-accessible navigation and controls.
• A skip link to bypass repeated navigation.
• Visible focus indicators and minimum control target sizing.
• Support for reduced-motion preferences.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images and accessible names for controls.
• Responsive layouts designed for zoom, mobile devices, and narrow viewports.
• Form labels, instructions, status messages, and error feedback that do not rely on color alone.

Continuous testing

Accessibility is treated as an ongoing engineering requirement rather than a one-time claim. Our release process is designed to supplement automated checks with keyboard and screen-reader review before production releases. Some third-party services, browser features, and external links are outside Jiro Engineering's direct control.
